When I received it, the mic clip was on "backwards," with the wire on the outside, in front of the clip, which makes the wire more obvious to the audience. So I carefully pried the clip off of the wire (be careful, the wire channel is so tight you could damage the wire), flipped it over, and reattached it to the mic wire. Now it's even more unobtrusive.I have another mic that uses batteries, but checking the batteries before each recording session is a pain, so this unpowered mic is a fantastic convenience! The cable length is perfect for slipping the recorder into your pants' pocket. If you have a stereo recorder, just remember to set it to Mono.
