Asus tech support asked me to download the latest drivers from the web.--> I don't know why they ship the CD-ROM. It's almost always better to use the latest drivers. Asus should at least show the driver web page in the quick start guide. The new software also didn't work. Tech support had me remove the utility and just install the USB driver. He said that Windows manages the device better than the utility. --> Why do they suggest using a utility if Windows does a better job anyway? After all that, it turned out the radio in my device was dead on arrival. They suggested I return the unit to Amazon, as they couldn't send me an advance exchange. I was very glad I purchased this through Amazon, so the return was a snap. --> It's not Amazon's problem that Asus shipped a dead unit. IMHO, Asus did not stand behind this product.
