I purchased this item on June 6th, and received it in the mail today (felt like so long because I'm used to Prime shipping but 6 days including the weekend is not bad at all). Upon unpacking I couldn't believe the quality of the lenses for what I paid. EASILY these should be $30-50 a piece. High quality and a solid (not heavy but solid) feel.

I use a Nikon D5100 with both the stock 18-55mm lens (pretty crappy) and my pride and joy 35mm F1.8 prime (~$200 on Amazon). For the stock lens the zoom is just not adequate for most shooting in my opinion, and the speed is too slow to be usable in lower light conditions. The 2X telephoto essentially makes this a 110mm lens which is MUCH more useful for moderate distances. Still not a dedicated telephoto, but FINALLY worth popping on now and again with this adapter. Purchased this recently as a budget alternative to a zoom lens. It fits on my nikkor 18-55 lens just fine. The wide angle lens has a macro lens that screws off. It has been great for taking close up photos to use in lectures. I haven't had these long, but have tried them all out. I don't notice any distortion on any of the photos so the lens appears to be good. The telephoto didn't make as much difference as I thought it would, but this little kit will do me just fine. I would recommend it to anyone looking to expand their creative options without breaking the bank.
