The mousepad doesn't lay flat since it was rolled (think of a poster). I am assuming after some time it will continue to flatten. It has already flattened some, but still has "waves" in it. Kind of frustrating having this issue when buying a premium product.The surface is nice, but it is expensive for what you are getting. Overall, happy... but it would be better if it came with a hard backing like my other steelseries pad. Update: I thought after some time the roll marks would go away... I am wrong. The mousepad is wavy from being tightly rolled. Spending $$$ on a premium mousepad, you shouldn't have to deal with waves in your mousepad. Maybe an iron will fix it? At any rate, not recommended.
